Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise and Visitor Experience, **Visitor Experience Associates **act as the “face of the AGA” and create a warm and welcoming environment for our guests and members. **Visitor Experience Associates **work in a variety of areas of the gallery, including shopAGA, Guest Services (admissions) and Art
Sales and Rental.

**Responsibilities**
- Operate shopAGA retail outlet - including processing transactions, inventory control and display updates;
- Assist with a variety of tasks in the sales and rental gallery. This includes but is not limited to art handling, storage, deliveries, installation, database and inventory management;
- Other tasks as required.

**Qualifications**
- Completion of a high school diploma and preferably has or is enrolled in post-secondary education;
- Previous customer service experience, dealing with front-line customer interaction;
- Comfortable interacting with visitors and clients;
- Basic physical fitness, this positions may require that one stand for a period of up to four hours;
- Individuals with interest/experience in art related positions will be considered an asset;
- Prior experience with an arts organization would be considered an asset;
- The ability to work under general direction and in a team environment.

This is a casual part-time position with hours based on business needs (no minimum hours guaranteed). Work hours fluctuate weekly, from Wednesday through Sunday; weekends and holidays are required.
