The **Edmonton Convention Centre** is seeking **Visitor Experience** staff to join the team for day, evening and weekend shifts This position plays a key role in providing outstanding service to our guests. They are responsible for delivering top-notch visitor services, offering information on local amenities, supporting client needs and working collaboratively with our teams. This casual position is great for those with flexible schedules, as hours are based on operational needs.

- Knowledgeable of the venue with the ability to provide directions when required

- Addressing inquiries, resolving issues and redirecting members of the public as needed
- Providing detailed information to visitors about local amenities, attractions, dining options and transportation services
- Assisting clients with their event-specific needs and requests, such as accessing control, ticket scanning and registration check-in
- Act as a knowledgeable resource to enhance client experience
- A High School Diploma
- Minimum 1-year experience in a customer service or event-based position
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for customer service
- Excellent problem-solving and positive decision-making skills
- A commitment to quality, with exceptional attention to detail
- Diplomacy and tact when handling sensitive situations and information
- An ability to work well both independently and within a collaborative team environment with the flexibility to change with new ideas that are introduced
- Knowledge of the City of Edmonton and local attractions is considered an asset
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts
