Large Scale Distribution Centre
Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Read and write in English to accurately follow instructions and complete necessary documentation.
- Perform multiple warehouse duties, including but not limited to:
- Order picking and packing based on customer specifications.
- Palletizing and shrink-wrapping products for storage and shipping.
- Operating a manual pallet jack to move goods safely and efficiently.
Utilize a computer and DCCS warehouse management system to manage inventory and track orders.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
Lift and move materials consistently, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs and occasional team lifts of over 50 lbs.
Spend the majority of the shift standing and walking on concrete floors.
Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
Commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including nights and weekends.
Handle repetitive tasks with focus and efficiency while maintaining a positive attitude.
Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily goals and maintain a productive work environment.
**Qualifications**:
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely. ( up to 50lbs)
- Comfortable using computers and warehouse management systems (training will be provided).
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
Pay $18/hr plus 4% vacation pay paid weekly (esst $18.72/hr)
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
