Junk Removal and Demolition Company seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our company's daily demolition and junk removal operations and ensure our business is well-coordinated and productive. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and directing the activities of a truck team of employees in the operations department, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
$25 per hour starting wage with room to move based on performance
Full time hours 35-45 hrs per week.
Based just outside of St.Albert near Villenueve. Operate over the greaater Edmonton area
**Requirements**:
*MUST have own transportation to and from work. No vehicle, no job.
- Valid class 5 license Drivers abstract required from Registries office
- Steel-toed boots required
- Applicant must have experience driving truck and trailer combination, managing staff, customer service skills, and experience in Junk Removal and demolition.
- Personal Characteristics/Experience Required: Attention to detail Strong, resilient and able to work in dirty environments
- Customer service skills Clean appearance Able to work in a team environment Background of Farming, hauling, trucking, construction, mechanical preferred.
- Skid steer or other heavy equipment experience is an asset

**Duties**:
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Manage and direct the activities of all employees in the operations department
- Ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
- Develop strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations across the organization
- Manage relationships with customers and staff
- Ensure compliance with all relevant traffic related regulations and laws
**Skills**:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate employees
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws
