Operations Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee all daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and meet project timelines.
- Manage and coordinate the supply chain, including procurement, inventory, and logistics.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure timely delivery of products that meet customer specifications.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular operational reports for senior management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and staff, fostering a positive and results-driven work environment.
- Implement and maintain health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and spearhead initiatives for continuous operational excellence.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction and operational alignment.
- Manage budgets, forecast operational needs, and control operational costs effectively.
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
**Experience**:
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the manufacturing, construction, or metal fabrication industries.
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational improvements.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, production processes, and logistics.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles is an asset.
**Leadership**:
- Excellent team leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
**Communication**:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, vendors, and clients.
- Ability to present ideas and data to senior management effectively.
**Problem-Solving**:
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and execute action plans.
**Certifications**:
- Certification in operations or project management (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
**Additional Requirements**:
- Knowledge of local and federal safety regulations in manufacturing environments.
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic business needs and priorities.

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
