West Van Irrigation Ltd. (WVI), an established North Shore irrigation company, is looking to add an Irrigation Installer to our team. We offer a fast-paced and client-centric environment where you will be involved in residential irrigation installation projects.

**Position Type**:
This is a full-time opportunity. We do not aim to create jobs, instead, we want to help our employees build careers out of their profession. This is a great opportunity to learn more about irrigation and start earning much more than you would at other labour/construction types of jobs. We are looking for individuals motivated by hard-work, able to work outdoors and willing to learn a trade that can earn them a competitive wage.

**Description of Duties**:

- Assist the foreman with irrigation installation projects throughout the day. This includes digging, trenching, laying pipe, and installing other in-ground irrigation system components.
- Assist in the daily stocking and cleaning up of company vehicles and transporting material to/from job sites.
- Participate in the training and daily operation meetings of WVI’s team and commit to ongoing coaching and on-the-job learning.

**About you**:

- You are physically fit and have prior job experience with demanding outdoor physical labour (especially in landscaping or construction) and able to work in challenging weather conditions.
- You have the proven ability to adhere to and maintain workplace health and safety requirements.
- You are coachable and able to learn on-the-job.
- You can follow verbal instructions and understand job specifications.
- You have strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record is a strong asset.

**What we offer**:

- Hourly rate $20+ (Hourly rate is negotiable, based on experience and skills, reviewed after a 3 months probation).
- 4% Vacation Pay.
- Safety Training and onboarding are provided during orientation.
