**The Role**

As an **Irrigation Technician Trainee**, you will learn the foundations of irrigation systems through **hands-on training** and on-the-job experience. This entry-level role requires a **positive attitude**, strong **communication skills**, and a **willingness to learn and take initiative**. You’ll support experienced technicians while developing the skills to advance in the trade.

**What You’ll Do**
- **Assist with installations**: Help install custom irrigation systems for residential and commercial clients under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- **Support system maintenance and repairs**: Take part in tasks like digging, laying pipes, and installing sprinkler heads while learning the basics of system upkeep.
- **Learn safety and tools of the trade**: Operate tools and equipment safely while adhering to company processes and standards.
- **Maintain organization**: Keep tools, equipment, and job sites clean and organized.
- **Communicate effectively**: Work closely with team members and support staff, contributing to a collaborative and efficient environment.

**What You Bring**
- Ability to work **outdoors** in all weather conditions.
- Strong **mechanical aptitude** and problem-solving mindset.
- Physically fit to perform manual labor, including lifting, digging, and moving equipment.
- A **Class 5 driver’s license** with a clean driving record.
- A **willingness to acquire CIT Level 1 certification** and **WVI Technician Level 1 skills and certification** (highly recommended).
- A **positive attitude**, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
