Detailed Overview:
**Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose, and Commitments of ISS including service delivery that is person centered around individuals and families**:
As the Director of Central Upper Island (CUI) and Homeshare you will work directly with the youth and adult individuals who have developmental disability, their families, CLBC and MCFD to coordinate the funding of residential support and individuals who live in a shared living environment.
- Qualifications:_
- Post-secondary education in a relevant social science, rehabilitation or health care administration, or demonstrated experience in a related field
- Training in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
- Knowledge and competency related to Sharevision content, utilization and training
- Knowledge of theory and practice relevant to the care, education, and training of persons with an intellectual disability
- Knowledge of the structure, regulations, and legislation of Community Living BC, and Licensed Child Regulations
- Understand and support the concept of interdisciplinary teamwork
- Valid BC Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle for business purposes
- BC Crminal Records Review Program Clearance
- Proficient in MS office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
- Extensive travel required
- Skills and Abilities_:

- Experience and knowledge of the concepts and practices of person-centered planning
- Knowledge and ability to deescalate, debrief and engage in conflict resolution process
- Experience providing or coordinating services to individuals and children with diversibilities, preferably in either a community residential or home share setting
- Experience managing in an interdisciplinary environment
- Experience with project management and balancing multiple responsibilities
- Establish and maintain accreditation systems and socumentation relared to Home Share
- Terminate contracts as necessary
- Conduct a review or investigation on every formal complaint and report such to the CEO
- Ability to work harmoniously and contribute to effective employee relationships
- Ability to chair or facilitate meetings effectively and efficiently
- Ability to plan, implement and evaluate individual support plan
- Promote Home Share services with CLBC, families and the community at large
- Possess excellent leadership skills
- Possess the emotional stability necessary to serve as a model regarding cooperative teamwork and process improvement
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent motivational and PR skills
- Previous experience providing services within a CQI model of management an asset
- Previous experience managing budgets an asset
- Previous experience in crisis resolution/counseling an asset
- Community Living Sector experience an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
