**Front Line Technician - Casual**

This is an entry-level, casual position, 2-5 days per week, Monday through Friday. The Front Line Technician (Casual) performs a variety of duties in cannabis production under the direction of the Master Grower & Production Specialist.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Performs all aspects of cannabis cultivation through the production cycle including cloning, defoliation, topping, flushing, foliar, trimming, transplanting, harvesting, and drying
- Cleans and assists with equipment maintenance
- Keeps accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
- Keeps production area clean and adheres to sanitation procedures and standards; ensures a safe work environment.
- May be required to assist with other cannabis-related activities.
- Stays up-to-date on plant knowledge i.e., diseases, problematic/beneficial insects, fungi, and treatment when applicable
- Ensures that cannabis is handled in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Adherence to regulatory compliance with Canadian cannabis legislation including the Cannabis Act and Health Canada.

**Skills**
- Must obtain Security Clearance/criminal background check
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Able to collaborate in a team environment
- Self-directed
- Attention to detail
- Punctual, honest, ethical, with a strong work ethic

**Work Conditions**

May need to work outside of normal business hours during critical stages in the production process

Required safety equipment (provided): scrubs, gloves, safety glasses, sunglasses, hair/beard nets, arm covers, etc.

NOTE: Indoor toe-covered shoes are **required but not provided**, and must be clean, **brought to the first shift**, and left at the facility. Employees are not permitted to enter the production area with open-toed shoes/sandals.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $16.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Windsor, NS B0N 2T0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
