CUSTOMERS.** **About the Job** Reporting to the Quality Manager, the QA Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of our Quality Management programs, including. - Supervision of all activities in the quality bake lab - Accountability for ensuring that the team meets all requirements of internal and external customers. - Investigating all quality issues and implementing permanent solutions to prevent repeats. - Driving continuous improvement in quality programs and procedures This position is also back up for QA Manager, including: - Ensuring plant-wide compliance with food safety and regulatory policies and requirements - Accountability for successful food safety audits - Drive a culture of food safety and quality by engaging employees and performing internal audits, monthly food safety trainings etc. **What you will do as a Quality Assurance Supervisor** - Leads and manages the monitoring of quality and consistency of all products, including the investigation of all internal or external customer quality concerns. - Leads RCA for all rejections or other quality issues. - Leads rework management program and initiates improvement in same - Directs subordinates to ensure order, adherence and consistency in all bake lab processes and procedures. - Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability. - Manages laboratory, ensuring material and supplies are available and tests are accurately recorded and analyzed, as well as all COA’s provided as necessary. **Requirements and Qualifications** - High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in food science or related field preferred. - Background and experience in Food, Beverage and/or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. - Supervisor experience in Quality Assurance in Food, Beverage and/or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. - Experience in HACCP, FDA, Food Safety Plans, AIB/IFS standards. - Root cause analysis and developing Continuous Improvement Teams. - Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend and occasionally lift objects of up to 50lbs. **About Our Benefits** Dawn is proud to employ the top talent in the baking industry, and we reward our people with comprehensive health and well-being coverage, competitive compensation packages, and award-winning benefit offerings.
