**Job description**:
Responsibilities include:
- Supervise field execution for various projects of mechanical and structural discipline - may include small electrical and instrumentation scopes
- Manage contractors at site:
- Participate in assigned daily tool box talks with the Contractor
- Review and enforce the contractors’ day-to-day job risk analysis processes as needed
- Monitor contractor compliance with the McClean Lake HSE program
- Ensure contractor area housekeeping is maintained at all times
- Complete routine and regular inspections
- Participate in incident investigations conducted by Orano Health, Safety and Environment or the Construction Safety Officer
- Maintain and provide a Daily Log of all field activities including but not limited to:
- Quarter-daily workface conditions
- Verification of work progress
- Verification of safe working conditions and housekeeping
- Verification of compliance with Safe Work Plans
- Identify coordination issues and mitigation strategies for resolution
- Assist in planning of construction/installation activities, including:
- Logistics
- Scheduling
- Resource requirements
- Site support needs (identify and coordinate) - Services/Safety/Radiation Protection, etc.
- Lift plans/rigging plans
- Access requirements (scaffold/AWP etc.)
- Coordinate with contractors to identify needs at site
- Manage contractor training records
- Support and manage project material handling:
- Material delivery to site and storage (coordinate with site Warehouse)
- Inspect and kit materials into work packages once at site
- Identify, create and manage material laydown areas in the field
- Assist project managers to develop construction work packages (CWP’s)
- Assist project managers to develop installation scopes of work (SOW’s) for bidding purposes
- Manage all applicable QA/QC requirements:
- Participate in Witness/Hold inspections and QC/QA exhibit signoff
- Verify as-built mark-ups as required
- Adhere to and successfully execute requirements of the OCI Contractor Manager Program
Work Location & Schedule:
- McClean Lake site
- 14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
- Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required
Fly Day
- This position will fly in and fly out on Wednesday
Pick-Up Points: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac, and Wollaston.

**Ideal qualifications**:
Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
- A qualified industrial tradesman with an inter-provincial ticket or post-secondary education (degree, diploma, or certificate) is preferred but all applicants with applicable experience will be considered
- 5+ years of project management experience is required
- Demonstrated experience managing contractors and/or construction is required
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience
- Experience in industrial facility is an asset
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SAP experience is an asset
- Must have effective interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
- Well organized with structured approaches
- A proven team leader who is able to develop positive working relationships and work closely and effectively with all team members
