Service and Parts Advisor

**Primary duties of the position include, but not limited to**:

- Greet each customer in a prompt, courteous manner
- Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problems, and time required.
- Schedule appointments using dealership booking system
- Handle minor customer concerns
- Follow up progress of each repair order during the day, contact customers by telephone regarding changes in the estimate or time promised
- Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments and return phone messages promptly
- Review work performed with customers
- Interpret warranty information and policies to customers
- On board training to earn knowledge of service and parts counter procedures
- Stay up to date on training as required by Kia and performance information on all vehicles serviced by the dealership
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
- Answering telephone calls from wholesale and retail customers providing price quotes and other information.
- Making certain that the technician or customer receives the proper part on time as promised - call customers for parts pick-up and delivers parts if necessary.
- PC skills
- Notifies team of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
- Properly tracking lost sales, being an integral participant in the quality control process.
- Helps to receive parts, place them proper bins, locations.
- Maintaining displays in counter areas, as required
- Performing housekeeping duties in counter areas as required
- Assist the service and parts advisor as necessary

**Requirements**:

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Superior customer service skills
- computer proficient
- Strong work ethic and team player
- flexible to work retail business hours including Saturdays
- Professional, dependable, reliable and a commitment to provide excellent customer service
- A valid driver’s license
- Service or Parts dept. experience is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
