**Description**

As a Warehouse Lead Hand, you are responsible for supporting the day-to-day supervision of the warehousing operation. The Lead Hand helps manage workflow, receiving, replenishment, transload, shipping, returns and organized workspace. In this role, you will ensure that all employees and activities are operating with the warehouse layout, health & safety programs, proper procedures and sanitation requirements.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Provide day-to-day direction to staff and demonstrate best practices in material handling, safety and procedure.
- Ensure daily receiving and shipping objectives are met.
- Monitor stock rotation and replenishment.
- Demonstrate and maintain a Continuous Improvement focus.
- Perform cycle counts and quality initiatives as required.
- Operate Material Handling Equipment
- Coordinate with management to delegate proper assignments for Warehouse Associates on a priority basis.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift Certification considered an asset
- the ability to organize and prioritize tasks with an attention to detail and accuracy
- the ability lead others

**Salary**: $18.25-$19.25 per hour
