Job Overview
Duties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to cut, shape, and assemble signage
- Perform rigging and crane operations to move heavy materials safely
- Execute precise machining tasks including drilling, cutting, and assembling components
- Maintain quality standards by inspecting finished parts with tape measures and other measurement tools
- Follow safety protocols when working with welding equipment, power tools, and heavy machinery Qualifications
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, and basic math for measurements and calculations
- Experience with rigging, crane operation is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to welding, machining, and construction environments
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Proficient with computers
- Fall protection/MEWP
