Job description

BSP Bicycle Sports Pacific is a well known Bike Store offering a wide range of bikes for every type of Cyclist. We have a wonderful team at all of our 3 locations. Our Downtown Vancouver location is requiring the services of an experienced Service Writer.

Job Description:
- 1st point of contact for customers to bring in bikes for service
- Receive bikes for work orders for our mechanics
- Physically do a thorough check and diagnose what repairs are required for the bike
- If a quick and easy 10 minute repair is required, then complete the work order and do the repair, e.g. change a flat, new bike adjustment, etc.
- For complicated repairs, determine parts required to repair the bike
- complete work orders, do physical picking of bike parts required
- Order parts if necessary
- Book bike in for repairs
- Store bike with parts to be used for repair for mechanics
- Once bike is repaired, 1st point of contact to give bike back to customers

Applicant Requirements
- Friendly, great customer service
- Punctual
- Sales experiences
- Ability to build and maintain good rapport with rest of the team
- Good communication skills
- Must have bike knowledge
- Previous experience working with bikes
- Previous experience with service writing bikes
- thorough knowledge of bike parts and components
- Attention to detail
- Punctual
- Neat and tidy at all times
- Keep area of work neat, clean and tidy always
- Basic service knowledge essential
- Ability to deal with customers in difficult situations

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- service advisor: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
