Clinic-aide Ii

ONE Fertility Burlington is a state-of-the-art full service fertility centre devoted to providing specialized fertility care, treatment and counselling. In the Clinic-aide role, you will support ONE Fertility’s overall goal of achieving excellent patient care by supporting the facility operations, administration, lab and clinical teams.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the preparation of patient information packages, laboratory requisitions, filing of patient reports
- Facilitating the dissemination of patient information packages, laboratory requisitions, and any other documents as instructed by the clinical team
- Assisting with procedures in the operating room
- Assisting physicians with clinics including chart preparation and running in-person clinics
- Reprocessing of all medical and laboratory equipment, by collecting, decontaminating, sterilizing and repackaging of devices
- Ordering and restocking of single use medical supplies throughout the clinic
- Reporting any critical incidents in a timely fashion to the Operations Manager and/or Nursing Manager,
- Participating in continuous quality assessment and risk management on an ongoing basis
- Ensuring overall cleanliness of the clinic including spill management/clean-up
- General office duties as required
- Other duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Minimum of Grade 12 diploma is required
- Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred
- Medical Device Reprocessing Techniques Course and MDRAO Certification is preferred
- Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated initiative and flexibility to meet workload demands
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7.5 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
