Inside Sales Representative

**CORE FUNCTION**:
The inside sales representative position is responsible for inside and online sales while building relationships with new and existing customers through the delivery of superior customer service. The inside sales representative works with the branch manager, service techs and mechanics primarily to attain these goals.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Inside sales**:
- Responsible for greeting customers and ensuring their needs are met while at West End Tire
- Responsible for completing transactions in a timely manner
- Responsible for ensuring all paperwork and filing pertaining to inside sales and service is kept up.
- Responsible for using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and ensuring customer information is accurate when applicable.
- Responsible for customer service area cleanliness.
- Responsible for following all sales policies, practices and procedures.
- Responsible for replying to and completing online sales in a timely manner.
- Assist in inventory management and performing inventory counts when required.
- Responsible for processing and completing warranty paperwork.
- Assist in ensuring all employees adhere to company policies and procedures regarding professionalism, attitude, dress code, conduct, appearance and attendance
- Communicate effectively with all employees, including those at other WET Locations
- Assist in helping retread plant and any other department when possible to do so.
- Builds and maintain positive working relationships with all team members.
- Willing to help out at all locations.
- Other duties as required.
**KEY REQUIREMENTS**:
**Competencies**
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with potentially challenging customers and employees
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- A passion for delivering exceptional service in every interaction, both external and internal
- Specific knowledge of the products and services offered by West End Tire and how they can meet customers’ needs
**Education and Training**
- Minimum of Grade 12 (high school diploma or G.E.D.) is required; a degree or diploma in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing is highly desirable
- Must have intermediate computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry
- Any specific training or development in leadership or coaching would be an asset.
- Any specific customer service, sales, marketing or industry related training would be an asset.
**Experience**
- Sales experience would be an asset
- Tire industry experience would be an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
