This is a Full Time Position.
**Responsibilities**:
There are 3 main functions of this position.
**1. Planning**
Accountability includes scheduling of all production/assembly orders, and the sequencing work orders to shop floor to meet Sales Order demands.
**2. Procurement**
Responsible for the execution of purchase orders ensuring accurate, timely and complete materials availability to enable manufacturing activities. The role has a key focus in ensuing the integrity and accuracy of the data held in the ERP system (Microsoft Business Central) and completing Material Planning based on sales orders entered by sales department. Responsible for maximizing material availability, minimizing inventory, and reducing cost. Responsible for supplier day-to-day management and relationship building. Collaborate with Project and Engineering departments to ensure material supply is accurate, in full and on-time. Follow-up with suppliers for overdue items when items have missed their promised delivery date. Optimize inventory management by carefully balancing appropriate level of supply to allow flexibility, minimize overstock in keeping with our sustainability and financial goals. Be able to administer monthly rolling test counts of inventory to ensure accuracy and participate in the year-end inventory counts.
**3. Microsoft Business Central Implementation**
Assist with the continuing implementation of Microsoft Business Central to include full Financials, Timecard and Jobs Module and slowly migrate away from Sage 50 Accounting for these aspects in order to have all aspects of our business in one software package to improve workflow process and day to day business activities.
**About You**:
2 plus years of experience in a small/mid sized manufacturing company for each responsibility of Procurement and, Planning.
College or university education in General Purchasing, Accounting or Procurement program, or an equivalency, is required.
Experience with Microsoft Soft Business Central
Proven familiarity with other Microsoft Suite programs, including Power BI
Excellent organization and communication skills, with ability to adapt quickly to change.
Tech-savvy with an ability to learn new systems quickly.
Ability to work in and contribute to a team building environment.
Perform other duties as assigned based upon business need.
Highly motivated to learn and grow, both personally and professionally.
Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills, exercise good judgement and critical thinking.
Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and can maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal customers, with strong oral & written communication skills.
**Salary**: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
