As a leader in the industry, we’re expanding into British Columbia, Alberta, and other regions, and seek a Key Account Manager to drive our growth from London, Ontario.
**The Role**
As a Key Account Manager in London, Ontario, you’ll manage a portfolio of main and additional LP accounts, driving significant sales growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll use our CRM (Dynamics 365) to deliver tailored packaging solutions and ensure Health Canada compliance. With 50%+ travel (Ontario, BC, Alberta), you’ll build strategic partnerships to support our national expansion, leveraging our Vancouver and London resources.Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with main LP accounts (e.g., Tilray, WeedMD) through weekly/bi-weekly calls and quarterly in-person visits, offering customized packaging solutions.
- Manage additional accounts with quarterly check-ins, upselling innovative products (e.g., premium jars, 2.0 packaging).
- Drive sales by acquiring new LPs (e.g., Canopy Growth, Pure Sunfarms) and attending industry events.
- Ensure compliance with Health Canada regulations and leverage CRM for account tracking and forecasting.
- Collaborate with our Vancouver-based team and London resources (e.g., meeting spaces) to streamline solutions.
**Qualifications**
- 7-10+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in cannabis, packaging, or CPG, with a proven track record of driving $150,000+/month in sales.
- Established network of LP contacts and resources (e.g., relationships with Tilray, Organigram).
- Advanced proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Dynamics 365, Cannabiz Media) and data-driven sales strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of Health Canada cannabis regulations and packaging compliance.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable with 50%+ travel.
- Ability to work autonomously with mínimal management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Based in or willing to relocate to London, Ontario (hybrid work available).
