We are seeking a **Procurement Student** for our Atlantic Canada District, within our Canadian Buildings Division, that is available to work in **Halifax, NS**, for **4 months** starting **September 2025**.

Here's how a Procurement Student contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**:

- Helps in all aspects of the procurement process including Requests for Quotes, Purchase Orders, Price Lists, etc.
- Maintains acceptable and accurate inventory levels and reporting shortages.
- Classifies, labels, and warehouses all inventory for future use.
- Keeps accurate records of inventory levels and location for easy retrieval.
- Communicates with all department managers and the purchasing team on inventory levels and locations.
- Maintains a record of all transfers and disposal.
- Implements and follows a control system to reduce damage, breakage, and inventory obsolescence.
- Assists the receiving and shipping department in logging all incoming inventory purchases.
- Completes physical inventory counts as required and reconciling the inventory records for a complete and accurate count.

**Qualifications**:

- Enrolled in a Supply Chain Management specialization in a post-secondary institution.
- Strong time management skills.
- Good with numbers and place a large emphasis on attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills and the ability to maintain a positive working relationship with clients.
- Strong computer skills.
- Previous knowledge of the construction industry would be considered an asset.
