**What you will be doing**:
Reporting to the Director of Pricing, Promotions, and Merchandise Systems, the Manager - Vendor Relations will lead the strategic oversight and continuous improvement of the front store Launchpad reporting system. This role serves as the primary point of contact for vendor-facing reporting, driving the development of best-in-class data insights and reporting tools. The Manager will work cross-functionally with Vendor Teams, Merchandising, and IT to align reporting capabilities with business needs, enhance data-driven decision-making, and ensure a high standard of support and system performance.
- ** Lead the Reporting Strategy**: Define and oversee the roadmap for reporting and analytics tools (including Launchpad), ensuring they meet the evolving needs of merchandise and category teams while driving operational excellence.
- ** Primary Point of Contact**: Act as the senior liaison for front store Merchandise Vendors and Category teams, ensuring timely support, clear prioritization, and effective issue resolution related to reporting systems.
- ** Cross-Functional Leadership**: Collaborate with senior leaders, cross-functional stakeholders, and technical teams to align on data needs, business requirements, and solution design.
- ** System Governance & Documentation**: Oversee the maintenance of Launchpad user documentation and ensure consistent standards across training materials and processes.
- ** Insights & Decision Support**: Guide the development of dashboards and ad hoc reporting, translating data into actionable insights and presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
- ** Enhancement Oversight**: Direct user acceptance testing (UAT) and rollout of new reporting features and system enhancements to ensure integrity and usability.
- ** Operational Partnership**: Deeply understand front store operations to proactively identify analytics needs, streamline workflows, and champion the voice of business users in system improvements.
**How you will succeed**:
- University degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in working with Blue Yonder, Open Access, and CKB Data Systems
- Proven experience in writing SQL statements and working with databases
- Experience in the retail industry is required, OTC, HABA, Beauty, Daily Living category experience is preferred.
- Advanced written/Verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced analytical skills and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to produce work products that make an impact on management decisions and business results.
- Well organized and strong time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask.
- Self-directed and motivated to independently accomplish results.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and independently motivated
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills, data warehouse, SQL, and advanced data mining capabilities.
