**Position Details**:
**What You Will Do**:

- Coordinate all broker industry events/sponsorships (national) in conjunction with Business Development and Marketing teams
- Manage broker relationships with respect to queries and registration
- Manage internal and external communication
- Manage booking facilities, hotel, and travel for the Business Development (BD) team
- Provide support to marketing and BD team for broker event preparation and setup, i.e., booth setup, swag ordering and shipment
- Assist marketing department by providing input on department brochures and various pamphlets
- Participating in regular broker audits and providing input on required course of action
- Planning, execute and manage broker visits
- Provide administrative support with the gathering, sorting, and storing of all brokers monthly reports and other general administrative functions as required (Ontario, Alberta, BC, Atlantic - backup for Quebec)
- Compile, store and distribute monthly broker reports
- Maintain all broker control documents keeping the file up to date
- Preparation, gathering and distribution of monthly meeting agendas and meeting minutes/action items
- Support the broker due diligence process
- Compile, and prepare necessary documents for broker agreements & addendums
- Review and confirm Brokerage licensing annually
- Delivering broker contract termination notices when necessary
- Gathering information on developments in the insurance industry and competitor’s activities and reporting information back to management
- Work on specific projects as required
- Collaborate and coordinate day-to-day Business Development tasks with leaders and managers
- Provide regular updates on workloads/timelines and challenges along with potential solutions to manager
- Act as a go to person for the day-to-day questions from the BD team

**Who You Are**:

- College or University Degree in related field is required
- 2 years of administrative experience in P&C insurance industry preferably working with brokers
- CIP designation would be an asset
- Ability to navigate, prioritize, manage workload and pivot quickly, when necessary, in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lead, collaborate and execute in a team environment
- Effective and timely communication skills required to manage internal and external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail
