**About us**

Glitch Bar and Games Room is a retro arcade bar in the heart of Kitsilano with a 90s and 2000s theme. We have a trivia, country night and djs on weekends but looking to add a Karaoke night.

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Karaoke Promoter and Host for a weekly event.

Ideally a UBC student or someone tapped into the UBC market

As a Karaoke host we need you to provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere. while organizing and setting up the karaoke songs for guests to sing. If you have a passion for karaoke and enjoy interacting with people, we would love to hear from you.

Job Expectations:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile
- Keep the atmosphere upeat and pumping
- Manage singers and waitlist for singers
- Excellent public speaking skills to effectively communicate with guests and staff
- Hospitality mindset with a genuine desire to make guests feel welcome and comfortable

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $150.00-$200.00 per day

Expected hours: 4 per week
