Cantina Norte in Edgemont Village is hiring We are looking for a positive, energetic and active hospitality professional to join our experienced team as a PART-TIME HOST/HOSTESS. If you like funky latin music, spicy food and big tips - Cantina Norte is the place for you.

**Responsibilities**
- Reservations and POS platform management;
- Guest liaison (in-person + telephone);
- Memorise all food and beverage menu items and customer services to respond to guest inquiries accurately. This includes prices, preparation method/time, key ingredients and preparation methodology, taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, garnish and allergens;
- Assisting with customer service issues;
- Ensuring FOH is clean and presentable at all times;
- Assisting Guests Services Manager with training other hosts;
- All other duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of six (6) months experience in guest services or a related field;
- Availability to work as either full-time daytime host/hostess or full-time evening host;
- Advanced problem solving, decision making, customer service, communication and sales skills.

**Non-essential Assets**
- Experience using Lightspeed POS and OpenTable software; and
- A valid first aid certificate.
