**Summary**:
Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire a Learning & Development Specialist to join the Learning & Development team
The Learning and Development Specialist reports directly to the Director, Learning & Development and supports the design, development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of key talent development and talent leadership programs to enhance the capabilities of all team members in manufacturing and home office at FGF.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Design and development of corporate wide learning initiatives based on core competencies, key strategies, and unique FGF culture
- Provide Talent & Learning advisory and thought leadership, supporting stakeholders in understanding new and innovative approaches to meet business performance needs
- Create storyboards to reflect the recommended training design approach and based on storyboards, develop highly engaging content including visuals, audio, video, animation, interactions, evaluation tools, for e-learning or blended learning solutions using e-Learning templates and rich media content in a variety of authoring tools
- Identify opportunities to improve learning engagement and experience, monitor and research
best practices, identify emerging trends and make recommendations on new technology and
approaches
- Compile needs analysis, create, curate and recommend digital, physical, and experiential learning experiences in various formats (e.g. instructor led and e-learning, including micro-learning, mobile learning, gamification, whiteboard animations, flipbooks, interactive infographics, printable job aids, webinars, and interactive videos etc.)
- Conduct post implementation evaluations with the objective of continually enhancing course
content, reinforcing and sustaining learned and desired skills/knowledge;
- Evaluate and demonstrate learning and business impact of learning experiences by documenting time spent, insights, lessons learned and recommending improved approaches, materials, software and process improvements
- Project manage all deliverables independently, maintaining information flow to internal clients through various communication channels to maintain project timelines, including approvals and revisions.
- Track record of interacting with, influencing and gaining credibility at all levels of team members and Leaders
**Required Skills and Experience***:
- Post-secondary education, (or relevant combination of education and experience) in Adult Education or Training and Development, eLearning
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Learning experience designs
- Experience with Articulate Storyline (or other e-learning software) is an asset
- Driven to take initiative, coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a large, complex and ever-changing organization.
- Change Management Certification is an asset
- Systems and Design thinking is an asset
