**Position Summary**:We have an immediate opening for an Accounting Analyst. The role will be responsible for supporting the Director of Finance with a variety of specialized and complex duties associated with processing and analyzing accounting transactions.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist with preparing month end and year end closing
- Prepare financial reports on a determined schedule
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports as required
- Conduct analysis of financial reports, summarize key findings and trends
- Investigate and provide feedback on accounting irregularities
- Recording company transactions in the accounting software (Sage Intacct)
- Accounts Receivable accounting and reconciliation: customer billing, importing sales transactions into the accounting software, Unearned Revenue reconciliations, and AR ledger reconciliations
- Accounts Payable accounting and reconciliation: approving vendor invoice coding, prepare/process all payment runs per company payment schedule, AP ledger reconciliations
- Daily bank reconciliations and cash flow reporting
- Administration and reconciliation of the expense management system and corporate credit card portal - Certify
- Month-end general ledger analysis and journal entries as required
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Finance

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Post-Secondary Education in Business (Accounting/Finance)
- Working towards CPA designation would be an asset
- Intermediate level Excel - comfortable with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables
- Experience with Sage Intacct is an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Able to work autonomously with mínimal oversight

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
