Junior Estimator

Reporting to the Chief Estimator, the Junior Estimator will be responsible for providing estimating services to support the Project Development and Estimating departments. Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities: - Monitor tender documents and facilitate their distribution to subtrades/suppliers as required.- Contribute to maintaining contractors/suppliers’ relations.- Assist in maintaining various databases.- Prepare accurate and complete estimates.- Assist in the preparation of proposals and estimates for final approvals prior to their presentation to potential Clients and at bid closing.- Take part in project team meetings.- Follow up with invited subtrades/supplier to confirm their intentions to quote.- Maintain sub-trade/supplier contact information.- Support Estimators with quantity take-offs and other tasks as required.- Follow standard estimating procedures, utilize software systems provided.- Attend tender openings as required.- Junior Estimators will be mentored by the Senior Team.- Maintain career progression plan.- Attend training courses as required by team leaders.- Adhere to Clark Builders’ policies and procedures.
