Seeking to hire additional staff members in the New Year. We are closed the first week of January so interviews and start date would commence the week of January 9.

We are a busy family operated establishment in Whitby, that does a high volume of takeout and catering orders as well as operating a small dining room of 40 seats.

Position 1 - Morning prep/cook PART TIME (full time possible)

This position starts at 630-7am. You will be responsible for beginning operations in the kitchen for the day. Your duties will include loading ovens, putting inventory away, following prep lists, and minor cooking duties prior to noon.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- Must be able to follow directions, procedures, and maintain a clean environment
- Must have exceptional knife skills, and above average knowledge of handling food and following recipes.
- This position requires experience of operating in a kitchen - we make our items in house.

Position 2 - Evening Cook/Prep (may lead to fulltime)

Must be able to work weekends. This position generally will work 4-9 or 5-10pm. Experience is a must, however we are able to train within reason. This will be an entry level position and you may be responsible for making salads, wrapping pitas, plating food or takeout boxes, general kitchen labour and help.
- Must be able to follow directions, and abide by company procedures and protocols
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
- Able and willing to maintain a clean environment. Follow cleaning and closing protocols.
- Has at least minor experience in kitchen, handling food. Knife skills are a must

Our kitchen closes at 930pm on weekends and 9pm on weekdays. We offer complementary meals every shift and full benefits to full time staff. Pay rates are between $20-$25 per hour, depending on ability. Criminal Background check may be required.
