**About the Company**:
**As a full turnkey Security Systems company, DS Security Systems specializes in commercial, residential, and automated security systems across the Greater Toronto Area. From cameras, alarms, and access control - to providing cutting-edge security systems for the protection of commercial and residential properties, as well as luxury home automation systems.**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Install, service, and terminate IP-based and analog CCTV systems with recording units nvrs and dvrs.**
- **Install and service Card Access systems.**
- **Termination of cat 5 and cat 6 cables.**
- **Programming of various security-related platforms like dsc, dahua, hikvision, aphone, kantech**
- **Test, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper service for all network systems.**
- **Interpret electrical drawings and building plans on-site.**

**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required**:

- **Completion of secondary education. Some college &/or technical trade training in electronics or security systems.**
- **Knowledge of major security brands and networks**
- **Experience in large integrated systems, including CCTV, access control, intercom, and intrusion alarm systems.**
- **Must be able to interpret technical drawings and schematics.**

**Job Type**: Freelance

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ontario: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- alarm technician: 1 year (preferred)
