Ryu is a high-end sushi restaurant offering an upscale menu of traditional Japanese dishes each elevated with a modern touch. We’re looking to hire experienced _Nigiri & Sashimi Line Cooks / Chefs _to join our restaurant group.

**SALARY**: 20-24$ /H
**SCHEDULE**: Full-time preferably

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Preparing various types of nigiri and sashimi dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size and high-end presentation.
- Assist in daily food preparations and inventory management (ie. ability to inspect, receive, and store all raw bar related items).
- Expertly cut, slice, and fillet different types of fish.
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
- Maintain a clean work environment, as well as adhere to the restaurant's high sanitation standards, food safety regulations, and hygiene measures.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 2-3 years of cooking experience in a high-end or fast-paced sushi restaurant
- Willingness, knowledge, and ability to execute sushi cuisine
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a level of professionalism under pressure
- Must live in Montreal and/or have a valid Canadian working visa

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
