Canuel Caterers is a food and beverage company offering food service in schools, corporate catering, corporate dining and sport and entertainment services. We are an established company with 29 years of growth and counting.

**We are currently looking to hire our next long term team member for our commissary catering kitchen.**

Commissary Kitchen Managers Responsibilities:

- Food preparation and menu planning for meal programs and catering functions
- Organizing onsite catering events
- Leading, instructing, supporting and training all kitchen staff for the day to day production
- Ordering and receiving food and supplies, stock control, and monthly inventory counts
- Food costing and menu development
- Maintaining a clean, food safe environment
- Delivering orders
- Filling out daily food safety, temperature and sanitation reports

**Requirements**:

- Culinary Diploma or Red Seal
- Catering experience, preparing platters
- Exceptional organization skills
- Time management - able to execute meals on time
- Works well under pressure
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- able to lead a team proficiently
- Able to implement daily tasks to all staff
- Food Safe Certificate
- Criminal Record Check
- Drivers License
- Flexible Availability which includes some weekends, evenings and holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
