PPB Analytical Inc. is a leading environmental testing laboratory accredited under ISO17025, dedicated to providing high-quality analytical services for environmental samples. We specialize in testing soil and wastewater samples for various parameters to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and environmental protection.

**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Perform VOC analysis on soil and wastewater samples using Gas Chromatography (GC) and related techniques, ensuring accuracy, precision, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) when performing sample preparation and basic testing procedures
- Ensure a high level of accuracy in sample preparation and analysis
- Calibrate and maintain analytical instruments to ensure reliable and consistent results.
- Interpret analytical data and prepare comprehensive reports.

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education or technical diploma in chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in environmental testing laboratory, with a focus on VOC analysis.
- Proficiency in Gas Chromatography (GC) instrumentation and related software (e.g., Agilent).
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and guidelines governing VOC analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to Commute:

- North York, ON M2H 2N8 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- North York, ON M2H 2N8: Relocate before starting work (required)
