**Duties and responsibilities**:
Depending on work assignment, may include some or all of the following:
- **Empower Clients**: Implement personalized rehabilitation programs in collaboration with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and Speech and Language Pathologists.
- **Foster Independence**: Promote maximum independence for clients at home, in the community, and at work to support their re-integration.
- **Lead Exercise Programs**: Conduct engaging exercise programs and group exercise classes.
- **Support Behavioral Health**: Implement effective behavioral interventions tailored to each client’s needs.
- **Enhance Daily Living**: Facilitate and supervise activities of daily living, along with social, educational, and vocational re-integration plans.
- **Boost Cognitive Skills**: Implement cognitive therapy programs to enhance clients’ cognitive abilities.
- **Encourage Leisure**: Promote and organize enjoyable leisure activities for clients.
- **Collaborate with Teams**: Attend case conferences and team meetings to ensure comprehensive care.
- **Provide Transportation**: Drive clients safely as needed (with valid insurance coverage).
- **Ensure Safety**: Understand and implement infection prevention practices to maintain a safe environment.
- **Commit to Learning**: Participate in ongoing internal and external continuing education activities.
- **Adapt to Needs**: Complete additional tasks as requested to support client care.

Job Qualification
**Education**
Completion of a recognized Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Rehabilitation Assistant College Program.
Will also consider a university degree in kinesiology and/or the possession of a RRP or CCRC designation.
**Other Skills, Abilities and Requirements**
- Enjoy dealing with people and working in a fast-paced customer service environment.
- Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to handle difficult situations in an objective consistent manner.
- Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with a team.
- Ability to be self-directed and take direction.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
