**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, enhancing their shopping experience.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities and promote additional products.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout and sales area, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed and customers enjoy a clean, safe experience.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing products as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous cashiering experience required, with familiarity in operating POS systems.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy retail setting.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and cash handling.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- MUST ADHERE TO MANDATORY DRESS CODE
- Must be able to work independently when required.
- Must be reliable and responsible
- Must live in the Chilliwack store area

Expected hours: 14 - 24 per week
