We’re looking for a Regional Service Manager to drive the overall success of our Ontario Service teams and operations, including Vehicle Fire Suppression, Fire Systems, Fire & Life Safety Emergency Equipment, Respiratory, Instrumentation, Fall Arrest, Shop, Rentals, and Training and Consulting.

Reporting to the Vice President of Services and based in Oakville, this role will be focused on providing leadership and direction to our teams in our service branches in the Ontario region, including supervisors, technicians, and service administration teams with the objective of delivering results across all service business metrics, developing high-performing teams, delivering exceptional service to our customers, and ultimately contributing to making Canada a safer place to live and work.

Main Responsibilities

The Regional Service Manager will have a key responsibility for the leadership and success of our service branches and teams across the Ontario region. Your role will have both strategic and operational responsibilities that include planning, hands-on management, business development, safety, compliance, training, succession planning, team development and mentorship.

**Your primary focus areas will be**:

- Service Operations: Maintain the highest level of professionalism, customer service and quality of work through our Field Technicians while achieving profitability and effectiveness by maximizing technician labour efficiency and controlling service-related costs.
- Service Sales: Drive service sales growth by working collaboratively with the Sales Department. This entails being a technical resource for the service offering, thorough knowledge of our customers’ operations and markets and aligning the service team to support the sales effort regularly.
- Service Administration: Ensure our Service Admin team is providing excellent customer service and proactively working with customers in the selection of appropriate products and services.
- Fleet, Asset & Facility Operations: Manage and monitor mobile and off-site tools and inventory, service facilities (stand-alone or shared with distribution), vehicles, and trailers, including budgeting, planning and managing repairs and maintenance of service vehicles.

Your qualifications
- At least 5 years’ experience and proven success in managing operational teams of direct and indirect reports across multiple roles and locations
- Progressive experience in the fire and life safety service industry or related field
- Results-oriented and people-focused approach to leadership
- Strong business and financial acumen, including budgeting and forecasting
- Ability to travel between branches in Ontario - valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract is required
