Reporting to the Manager, Asset Info & Mapping, as the Leader, AIM - Traffic, you will offer visionary leadership during a period of organizational and technological transformation. This role demands a strategic leader who collaborates with existing management to drive continuous advancements in geospatial technologies and organizational culture. You will be a bold innovator, unafraid to take calculated risks and redesign the division's service delivery to both internal and external clients. Your passion for fostering a cutting-edge, collaborative organization will ensure the swift and effective achievement of outstanding results, significantly enhancing client satisfaction and delivering exceptional value. Responsibilities include:

- Provide leadership, staff development, coaching, direction and assistance to staff in their dealing with partners, customers and City staff.
- Manage client relationships.
- Prepare, direct and monitor operating & capital budgets, client invoicing and performance metrics.
- Contribute to the development of asset management performance metrics including identifying and implementing of improvement actions.
- Identify and lead initiatives designed to improve internal efficiencies and improve customer service while effectively managing staff and key partners through change.
- Communicate proactively and effectively with clients, partners and other business partners.

**Qualifications**
- A degree in Business, Geography, Geomatics, Engineering (Civil or Municipal) or a related field with at least 8 years of experience in an engineering graphics technology/geospatial mapping work environment; OR a completed 2 year diploma in a geospatial-related program with at least 10 years experience in an engineering graphics technology/geospatial work environment.
- Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.
- Required demonstrated experience includes but is not restricted to:

- at least 8 years of progressively more responsible leadership assignments which include supervisory roles managing technical staff;
- asset management experience: spatial data acquisition, design and integration experience;
- public sector experience;
