**Utility Operator Profile**:

- Inspecting equipment prior to the commencement and conclusion of each shift, completing all daily maintenance and operating log reports.
- Operating various equipment such as skid steers, ariel work platforms, and telehandlers.
- Transferring organics waste products and materials throughout various areas of the facility.
- Performing housekeeping and regular cleaning of all dust, debris, materials, etc. in all areas inside and outside of the facility.
- Completing manual labour such as shoveling
- Maintaining a clean working environment and promoting individual and team commitment to OH&S best practices.
- Assisting the maintenance team with basic mechanical tasks as required.
- Identifying and reporting any equipment deficiencies to the Operations Manager.
- Actively participating in daily toolbox meetings and scheduled staff, OH&S and Environmental training programs, and other related meetings.
- Actively participating in all housekeeping and all labour duties as needed.
- Safely performing other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Attributes**
- A minimum 1 year of experience operating a Skid steer or similar lifting equipment.
- A minimum 2 years of experience working in an industrial, construction, or manufacturing environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable standing for long periods and performing general labour duties.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
- Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.

**Working Conditions**:

- Odorous environment.
- Frequent exposure to excessive noise, dirt, and dust.
- Must be available to work night shifts
- Preferably available to weekends and overtime as needed

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week

- Monday to Friday
