**_Color Matching Specialist: Wood Coatings Division_**

One of Canada's leading distributors of woodworking materials is expanding their team and is looking for a COLOR MATCHING SPECIALIST to join their WOOD COATINGS DIVISION.

This person is responsible to handle all matters related to various types of coatings; including but not limited to stains, primers, pre-cat, post-cat, urethanes and water-based products.

**_Responsibilities:_**
- Strong wood finishing technical aptitude.
- Custom color mixing proficiency.
- Maintain formula/recipe data base.
- Familiar with viscometer, gloss meter, light box, film thickness meter, etc. for testing coating products.
- Prepare samples.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Responsible to maintain quality and safe work practices.

**_Qualifications:_**
- Strong knowledge of WOOD COATINGS INDUSTRY.
- Aptitude for color matching.
- Good color vision.
- High level of self motivation, self direction and self discipline.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and strong inter-personal skills.
