Reporting to the Manager, Loyalty Systems & Reconciliation, the Specialist, Reconciliation - Loyalty has the mandate to ensure a high integrity of all invoices that is coming to Aeroplan and that is going out Aeroplan.
**Key Functions & Accountabilities**:
- Perform the reconciliation processes for loyalty (invoices in, invoices out, data integrity, points,).
- Ensure integrity of invoice management, reconciliation processes, data & redemption systems.
- Investigate all discrepancies in the reconciliation.
- Collaborate with partners on reconciliation discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Contact Centre Management to ensure compliance with established processes and continuous improvements to accurate data capture.
- Collaborate with Compliance and Fraud departments on their investigations.
- Support the development & improvement of the reconciliation processes & back-end processes related to invoice payments with Finance.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing reports and processes related to reconciliation and investigation.
- Document and share reconciliation insights with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the overall success of the Redemption Optimization department in meeting compliance.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 2-3 years of reconciliation experience is required
- Computer/database skills using MS Office products, advanced Excel skills is required
- Proficiency with Aeroplan Systems such as ARDWeb, iFly is an asset
- Airline fares knowledge is asset
- Database query knowledge is an asset
- Analytical and detail orientation
**Education requirements**:
- Undergraduate or college degree required
