**Position Summary**:
***:**The Centre Director will be responsible for the strategic development, management, and day-to-day operations of all health, fitness, aquatics, and membership programs and services delivered at the Downtown Saskatoon YMCA. This full-time role (40 hours per week) reports directly to the CEO and plays a critical part in advancing the YMCA’s mission to serve the community through a wide range of dynamic programs.**

**This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader to build on the YMCA’s existing downtown services and reimagine the delivery of programs and services as part of a broader vision for the future of the YMCA in Saskatoon. The Centre Director will provide leadership to the Health and Fitness Director, Aquatics Manager, and Membership Manager.**

**The Centre Director is an experienced, values-driven leader who will ensure the YMCA’s operations are aligned with organizational goals, enhance the member experience, and maintain a high standard of service excellence across all programs. This role will provide an opportunity to positively impact the community and support the growth and future success of the YMCA in Saskatoon.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operational Leadership & Strategic Alignment**:
**- **Lead all daily operations and service delivery at the Downtown Saskatoon YMCA.**
**- **Ensure the downtown branch meets strategic and operational goals of the Association.**
**- **Manage and achieve performance targets established in the centre’s operating plans and budget.**
**- **Oversee the delivery of health, fitness, aquatics, and membership programs with a focus on service excellence and member satisfaction.**
**- **Achieve quality standards under YMCA best practices and the Member Experience program.**
**- **Work in partnership with the Facilities Director to support facility maintenance, safety, and service delivery.**
**Team Leadership & Staff Development**:
**- **Provide direct leadership to the Health and Fitness Director, Aquatics Manager, and Membership Manager.**
**- **Collaborate with the Director of HR on recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff recognition.**
**- **Support department leaders with staff scheduling aligned to service needs and budget targets.**
**- **Ensure team members are equipped with the training, tools, and support to deliver high-impact programs and services.**
**- **Lead and model YMCA values in a collaborative, inclusive, and performance-oriented culture.**
**Membership & Community Engagement**:
**- **Oversee all aspects of membership at the downtown location, from acquisition to retention and engagement.**
**- **Ensure a consistent, high-quality member experience across all areas of the branch.**
**- **Maintain strong relationships with members, staff, volunteers, and community partners.**
**- **Represent the YMCA in community groups, partnerships, and initiatives relevant to the downtown area.**
**- **Foster a culture of philanthropy and volunteerism among staff, volunteers, and members.**
**Qualifications & Experience**:
**- **Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience with responsibility for planning, operations, and financial oversight.**
**- **Proven success in leading programs, recreation services, or membership operations.**
**- **Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking and written communication.**
**- **Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with experience serving diverse populations.**
**- **Post-secondary education in a related field and a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.**
**- **Current and satisfactory Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (dated within 6 months of start date).**
**- **Three (3) professional references.**
