General Machinist

We are a busy custom machine shop, looking for an energetic skilled general machinist / toolmaker.

This position requires:

- Experience in small to medium size parts with varying materials & plastics
- Experience in metal cutting, including finish precision machining
- Experience with a wide assortment of inspection tools and methods.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Excellent mathematical and mechanical drawing reading skills
- Ability to use Mastercam, an asset.

Position Responsibilities**:Set up, program and run conversational NC controlled milling machines and lathes.**
- **Ensure that all parts machined to customer tolerances and requirements**:

- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Able to work well with co-workers and management but also be self-motivated.
- Be a multitasker that can effectively handle changing priorities in a fast paced environment

- Some CNC programming experience with FANUC controls on lathes and mills would be an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
