Are you a goal-getter, creative, passionate, honest, and a problem solver? We are looking for a Skilled Crew Member with a background in carpentry, masonry, or as irrigation technician with clear communication skills, and an aptitude for training fellow crew members.

**Tasks**:

- Build fences, decks, and patios.
- Lay pavers, build rock
- and retaining walls.
- Create water features and build irrigation systems.
- Install gardens, including clearing activities, transporting materials using wheelbarrows and shovels and plant trees, shrubs.
- Load and unload materials and tools
- Maintain equipment - keeping things clean and in good working order. Notify your Supervisor of any tools or equipment needing service or repair.
- Perform other duties to assist with the completion of projects.
- Maintaining standards of cleanliness and organization on job sites and yard areas.
- Train crew members in fields of expertise

**Skills/Behavior**:

- Proven experience in the field of carpentry, masonry, or as irrigation technician
- Must enjoy working in the outdoors in all weather conditions

**What to expect**:

- This job requires frequent bending, the ability to hold and carry weights up to 60lbs, as well as a variety of physically demanding tasks including kneeling, walking, stretching, and squatting for most of the day. If you are not afraid to be exposed to dust, dirt, noise, and changing weather conditions, this job is for you

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 1-year of experience in landscaping is essential.
- Being able to operate and maintain equipment like excavators is an asset. As well as operating and maintaining a variety of small engine equipment, and power tools
- WorkSafeBC-approved clothing is required (steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear protection.
- A minimum of 1-year of experience in landscaping is essential.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$33.00 per hour
