** A New Family in Downtown Vancouver is Looking for a Newborn Care Specialist to Start ASAP Until May 17, 2025 Earn Up to $50/Hour + Potential Extended Health Benefits

Schedule:
The family is offering a guaranteed 24 hours per week and is flexible regarding the days and times/shifts. Ideally, they are looking for 3-4 full shifts per week and are also open to night shifts. Please specify your preferred schedule when applying.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1.) General Childcare: Providing comprehensive care for their 2-month-old child.
2.) Feeding Support: Preparing bottles, assisting with feeding schedules, monitoring feeding amounts, and burping the baby after meals.
3.) Establishing Sleep Patterns: Supporting consistent nap and nighttime routines, assisting with sleep training, and employing soothing techniques.
4.) Diapering and Hygiene: Changing diapers, keeping the baby clean, bathing the baby, and ensuring proper skincare.
5.) Developmental Monitoring: Tracking milestones such as head control and tummy time, engaging in age-appropriate play to stimulate growth, and utilizing techniques to soothe and comfort the baby, like rocking or bouncing.
6.) Light Baby-Related Housekeeping: Performing light housekeeping tasks related to the baby, including cleaning bottles and managing baby laundry.

Their 2-month-old baby is their first child and is a very sweet, happy boy with lots of smiles. Both parents are professionals who enjoy exercising, eating healthily, and exploring restaurants and coffee shops. They also love to travel together as a family and have an Aussiedoodle. While pet care is not required, they would appreciate it if the nanny could take the dog for a walk occasionally.

They are specifically seeking a sleep expert who can help establish a solid sleep routine for their child, has experience managing various baby temperaments, and is willing to hold and soothe the baby when necessary, keeping him engaged and entertained.
