We are looking for a **Territory Manager,** **Companion Animals**for the Fraser Valley and British Columbia Interior. At Vetoquinol, our mission is to listen, understand and respond to the needs of our customers. The Territory Manager is a key member of the field sales team that promotes the products and the company with a customer centric approach. The Territory Manager is responsible for growing the business by providing support for the portfolio of products through interactions with the veterinary customers in their respective territory. **MAIN ACTIVITIES**: **Sales** - Maximize the sale of Vetoquinol products and customer satisfaction on the territory by: - Professional, structured and tailored sales arguments during visits, appointments, conferences and any other opportunities to interact with customers. - Developing good relationships with customers and opinion leaders. - Developing strong relationships with Operational Directors of National Key Accounts in your territory. - Personalized service and high-quality support including diligent follow-up of customer requests. - Implementation of the "Marketing Operational Plan". - Presentations and technical description of the products and services offered by the company. - Using sales skills to uncover customer needs and goals and align these with features and benefits of Vetoquinol solutions. **Reporting** - Contribute to the creation, maintenance and updating of the customer database for the territory by means of: - A complete and accurate report produced in a timely manner, using the tools developed and used within the company. - The maintenance of the customer database in the system in place. - Maintaining accurate and up to date records of meeting reports in the customer relations management database (CRM). - Completion of reports and administrative tasks as requested. **Market intelligence** - Provide accurate, complete and timely business information (competitive activities, market conditions, ideas, business opportunities) to the Sales and Marketing Department and other colleagues when information is deemed relevant. **Analysis** - Perform regular analysis of sales results, variances and trends using available resources in order to: - Identify opportunities and threats within the territory - Segment and target the business effectively - Improve the focus and effectiveness of the management within the territory. **PROFILE**: - University or technical degree in animal health science (agronomy, biology, veterinary medicine, animal science) or in business, or equivalent experience - Minimum of 3 years of experience in field sales - Experience in the Animal Health industry - Good knowledge of computer software and the Microsoft environment - Bilingual (French and English written and spoken) - Asset **KNOW HOW**: - Interpersonal / Communication skills - Ability to analyze and solve problems - Resilience and ability to adapt to change - Team work and collaboration - Solutions mindset **COMPETENCIES**: - Continuous Improvement - Communication - Customer Orientation - Building Customer Loyalty - Driving for Results - Account Planning & Organizing - Sales Persuasion **SPECIFIC CONDITIONS OF EXERCISE OF THE FUNCTION**: - 85% of the time on the road - 15% of the time at the office **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: From $70,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Automobile allowance - Casual dress - Company events - Company pension - Dental care - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Flexible schedule - Life insurance - Paid time off - RRSP match - Store discount - Vision care - Wellness program - Work from home Schedule: - Monday to Friday Expérience: - Ventes de territoire: 3 ans (Souhaité) Disposition à l'égard des déplacements professionnels: - 75 % (Souhaité) Work Location: On the road
