Are you a keen and HR savvy professional who’s looking for their next big challenge? We have a **twelve-month contract opportunity** for an experienced **Human Resources Coordinator** to join our team You’ll report directly to the **VP of HR, Culture and Learning** and will work out of our **Mississauga** head office 2-3 times per week.

**A little about what you will do**:
- Act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries and escalate issues when required to the regional HR Generalists and VP of HR, Culture and Learning.
- Support key HR functions such as recruitment, benefits, employee on-boarding, employee relations, health and safety claims management.
- Communicate and educate on HR-related information such as employment standards, people processes, programs and timelines.
- Develop and maintain relevant documents including legislated and regulated documentation.
- Support the VP of HR, Culture and Learning with various people program builds and various People and Culture initiatives.
- Responsible for employee letter creation, employee status changes, internal paperwork and employee file management.
- Provides a high level of customer service responding to daily inquiries relating to company policies, programs and procedures and various HR related matters.
- Monitors the HR mailboxes and responds to all inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of special projects and/or assignments as required.
- Tracking and reporting of various people analytics and metrics.
- Maintain a high-level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
**A little about your qualifications**:
- A college diploma or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field coupled with 2 - 5 years of experience in all aspects of Human Resources.
- CHRP is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and in-depth knowledge of relevant employment legislation across Canada.
