**Assistant Consultant - Technology Communications**

Hill+Knowlton Strategies is looking for an **Assistant Consultant **to join our technology team in Toronto.

**Reporting to the Account Director, Technology Sector and client account team leads you will**:

- Engage in media relations (e.g., building media relationships, developing and pitching storylines, maintaining media lists, and coordinating interviews, etc.)
- Write and edit compelling client and media materials
- Monitor traditional and social media
- Develop reports, trackers, agendas, lists and other project materials to keep client deliverables on track
- Work with teams to plan and execute events; liaise with suppliers

- A passionate interest in technology
- Ability to work effectively with multiple agency and client teams
- Proven ability to deliver projects despite obstacles
- Highly developed written and oral communications skills
- Critical thinking
- Ability to work independently and in a high-performing team
- The ability to multitask, working simultaneously on multiple deliverables for many clients
- Results-orientated with a strong attention to detail
- Post-secondary degree or post-graduate certificate in communications, public relations, journalism or a similar program, or relevant work experience
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with social media, digital strategies and tools
- Prior agency or technology communications experience an asset
