Victoria, Canada Heritage Christian Online School Full time

Heritage Christian Online School has a need for two part-time self-employed independent contractors to support one or more students in Saanich, **BC**, **for 6.5 hours/week as an** **in-class Education Assistant. We have a need in a grade K/2 and a grade 6/7 class for the 2024/25 school year, on Tuesdays. Hours are 8:45 am to 3:15 pm. **Additional hours supporting students at home are available.

Specific training for working with students with diverse abilities, such as an Education Assistant certificate (or equivalent), is required.

**Duties & Responsibilities Include**:

- Provide the social, spiritual, and academic learning needs of students, providing mentorship to the whole person
- Support students individually or in small groups
- Collaborate with teaching staff to support delivery of personalized learning opportunities
- Build relationships with families, teachers and other EAs
- Support IEP goals

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $23.50-$27.58 per hour

Expected hours: 6.5 - 12 per week
