Sales and Events Manager

**Title**: Radium Golf Group Sales and Events Manager

**Reports to**:General Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic experienced Sales Professional for an opportunity in sales and event administration
- You are an enthusiastic and eager individual who is self-driven, proactive, and resourceful.
- You have an eye for detail and you keep yourself very organized.
- You enjoy planning events and managing interactions such as virtual breakout rooms for prospects, sales teams, customers, and industry
- You take notes You are capable of conducting event kick-offs and debriefing meetings for sales and marketing teams and report back on progress.

You can manage social media channels (comments, engagements) and report to senior management

**Pay status**: FT Salary $55,000 (term to be discussed)
Other Pay: Gratuities earned for administration and execution of events, Bonus potential
Start date : April 2025

**Position summary**: This position is responsible for;
**Office**Writing up policy change/staff memos & preparing them for distribution
- Assisting the general manager with administrative tasks as needed
- Coordinating staff accommodation with General Manager
- Responsible for checking in/checking out employees at Staff Accommodation

**Sales**
Soliciting for Wedding, Event, and tournament business for 2 locations for all 4 seasons
touring facilities with potential event and wedding clients
Hotel administration, bookings, events, sales processing
Learn POS systems.

**Marketing**
- Managing social media channels (comments, engagements) and report on analytics
- Create and distribute relevant social content and campaigns that educate and grow engagement with our audience.
- Work with management to update website, images, banners, create upload content as needed
- Assist with content creation and sales enablement collateral such as success stories, advertising, promos for golf, events, weddings, Food and Beverage
- Some experience in planning events.
- Ability to keep organized, especially in organizing multi-faceted job tasks.
- Comfortable working independently and on tight timelines.
- Comfortable wearing different hats and assisting where need be.
- Spearheading Marketing initiatives, FB, Instagram, LinkedIn, managing accounts

Create sales and marketing literature following brand standards.
- Conversing with Suppliers, local authorities, colleagues,
- Conduct comparative analysis for events, function, weddings and sales
- Photography

**Skills**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma preferred, or working towards
- experience in planning events, administration, cash handling, logistics and equipment
- Ability to keep organized, especially in organizing multi-faceted job tasks.
- Comfortable working independently and on tight timelines.

Comfortable wearing different hats and assisting where need be
- Be familiar with nature of the game of golf and its support business units
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong customer relations abilities
- Good communications skills
- Confident with numbers and math skills, seasonal business
- Literate in Microsoft office programs, Marketing basics, sales promotions, Canva, mail chimp, Instagram, FB
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills
- Effective time management skills

**Time Off**

Time off can be requested through your immediate supervisor/manager with advanced notice.
**The Business is predominately seasonal role summer holidays may not be granted.**

**Staff Housing**

Staff housing available at 19.50 per day.

Pay: $5,000.00-$6,500.00 per month
