Maintenance Team Member

General facility maintenance under minimum supervision in a manner which ensures a clean and comfortable environment for our guests and owners.

Responsibilities include:
Sign in and out keys daily

Clean and maintain outside areas: including emptying trash, pick up of trash, sweeping

Opening and closing pools and hot tubs and maintain cleanliness of pool areas

Maintain cleanliness of all Common Washrooms and Guest Common Areas

Vacuuming and moping common areas as needed

Keeping public restrooms stocked and tidy

Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment in accordance to OHS and Work Safe Standards

Change light bulbs as required

Attend to Conference activities, set up cleanliness as directed

Remove litter, sweep, and change garages in parking garage

Check vehicles for parking permits and ticket when appropriate

Keep garbage and recycling room tidy and clean

Bring bell carts back to designated location when needed

Regular property security walk thru

Record all areas cleaned and other maintenance completed

Return all lost and found articles to the front desk

Report necessary maintenance items

Assist maintenance technician with repairs and painting

Other duties as assigned

Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:

- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Lifting and carrying up to 30lbs

*Kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

*Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps

*Must be physically capable of performing repetitive work

*Excellent communication and organizational skills

*Highly responsible & reliable

*Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team

*Ability to work well unsupervised

*Ability to always remaining calm and courteous

*Good grooming and presentation

*Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal

*Must be available to work varying shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays

Spirit pass program available

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
