In the lift maze, you’ll greet guests with a smile and validate their access. As a Lift Operator, you’ll safely operate multi-million-dollar machinery while ensuring smooth and efficient travel for guests and teammates alike. Job Specifications: Starting Wage: $20.00/hr Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026 Shift Type: Full Time hours available Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age Housing Availability: Yes Job Responsibilities:Positions available include Scanners and Operators for both valley and learning area locations. You will be mainly Scanning or Operating Gondolas and CarpetsProvide exceptional guest service by offering helpful information and assistance with a friendly attitudeValidate lift tickets to ensure each guest has a valid product before boardingCollaborate with other teams to manage lift lines safely and load lifts efficientlyMaintain and secure departmental equipment such as scanning devices Promptly escalate any issues to leadership, including safety concerns or ticketing problemsMonitor passenger safety continuously while offering guidance during the loading and unloading on the Gondolas and Carpets Report any repair or maintenance needs to the alpine office dispatch proactivelyPartner with the Lift Maintenance team to understand proper operation procedures for Gondolas and Carpets in your zoneFollow emergency protocols when necessary, including contacting PatrolAdhere to all company and departmental policies and proceduresKeep lift shacks and work areas clean and safe; remove trash as neededPerform other duties as assigned Job Requirements: Must be able to communicate fluently in English Ability to work outdoors in all types of inclement weather, standing and moving for entire shift on potentially slippery or uneven surfaces. May need to provide some of their own gear Adherence to safety standards and procedures. Be Safe is our number one value No experience is necessary, we train all lift operators (including returnees) Must be able to make quick decisions/use considerable judgment regarding safety as well as multitask and anticipate issues Must be physically capable of assisting guests while loading lifts; may lift up to 40 lbs Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed Must be able to handle high guest volumes in a professional manner Must be willing to perform alternate functions from time to time, both within and outside of the assigned area, particularly during peak periods such as holiday weekends In completing this application, and when submitting related documentation, applicants may redact information that identifies their age, date of birth, and/or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
